OUR MISSION
The mission of Tendea Family is to advance Baltimore’s Black Community by operating transformative programs focused on identity, self improvement, community service and development.
TENDEA'S CADET PROGRAM

Tendea Family's Youth Internship currently includes 15 youth interns participants between the ages of 10-18, who are interested in changing Baltimore City’s Black community.
​Since November 2021, Tendea Family pays each intern $50 per community cleanup (Sundays 10-12pm) to work side by side with Tendea Family’s members as well as be trained to examine, plan and solve critical issues in Baltimore City.
Interns take trips, receive mentorship and have built lifelong relationships with Tendea Family’s members and fellow recruits.
